- inserting the data into GES 2010 and other relevant programs, including scanning of the documents
- analyzing the data, for example compiling a list of ancestors, descendants and pedigrees
- issuing the data in hardcopy form, on CD or as GEDCOM-data Compiling documentation Taking photographs: sites, buildings, tombstones, etc. – if they still exist!
